The NYTimes really likes my work

This was a helluva thing to wake up to:

Let’s talk about Web newscasts.

Someone has got to move it along, graphically, and there’s a clear candidate: John Pavlus. I absolutely love the graphics and story choices, and their balletic integration, in his news-brief vids for Scientific American. Pavlus has an amazing chaotic-desktop style that every aspiring online filmmaker should study.

Wow. Very kind of her, considering what a tool I was when I mentioned her column a few weeks ago.

She doesn’t mention them in the review, but extra-special props must go out to my screencasting “cinematographer,” Michael Pick; and of course my talented co-host, Christie Nicholson.
